Malte Half, Head Chef at Glas Restaurant, is celebrating four years at the helm of the renowned Dublin restaurant this March. The eatery has been at the forefront of promoting quality Irish produce with its menus and in moving plant-based dishes centre-stage.
When Glas opened on Chatham Street in Dublin city centre in 2019, plant-based eating was still quite niche. But the Glas team quietly and firmly set about changing that perception.
Glas almost immediately faced a huge challenge when Covid hit in March 2020, but then did collections and delivery themselves and even opened the pop-up Glas Deli at the height of the pandemic.
To celebrate Malte’s four years as Head Chef, Glas is hosting a special Tasting Event in the restaurant .
This March head to Glas as they celebrate Malte, Irish produce and his stunning creations. He will be showcasing the new Glas Spring Menus and producing a stunning Tasting Menu full of variety, colour and surprises.
The Tasting Night is on Tuesday, March 12th. Seven courses for €60.
